Neighbors worry that units with high-basement ceilings basements will be illegally used as additional apartment units, reports lohud.com.

Ramapo Board Attorney says the lawsuit has no merit and the square footage including the basements seems to be within the plans, reports lohud.com.

The Ramapo Town Board had allowed the plans of the former Beth El property to change zoning from single-family homes to 44 units in 20 three-floor townhouses, reports lohud.com.
