St. Lawrence and Aaron Troodler, former executive director of the Ramapo Local Development Corporation, have both pleaded not guilty to charges of securities fraud, conspiracy and wire fraud bought by the feds investigating the financing of a controversial baseball stadium in Pomona.
The stadium, now known at Provident Bank Park, is where the Rockland Boulders play.
According to another lohud.com report, the ball club announced this week that the stadium would be re-named Palisades Credit Union Park.
There are more than 200,000 documents in the St. Lawrence case that will have to be perused during the fact-finding process, the lohud report said.
St. Lawrence’s lawyer, appearing in federal court in White Plains, asked the judge for 120 days to review the material but was told to be ready by July 21, the next trial date, the lohud.com report said.
