The 2016 Toyota Highlander was reported taken from behind a local business early Thursday, March 24, police said.
Police did not identify the man who was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
The stolen SUV was recovered at the suspect’s residence, police said.
Police also handled 110 calls, including eight medical emergencies, three fires, seven alarm activations, and five other arrests including charges for criminal mischief, menacing, harassment, and several traffic misdemeanors.
They also investigated six property-damage motor vehicle accidents at the following locations: Route 59 in Monsey (1) ; North Main Street in Hillcrest (1); and Route 59 in Airmont (4).
