VanderWaal was rendered speechless almost two weeks ago upon learning that the performance of her original song "Light the Sky" had earned her a place in the finals of the competition.
The final round kicks off at 8 p.m. tonight on NBC, and the live results round takes place on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
