Suffern's Grace VanderWaal Records New Album

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Fans of the delightful and always smiling Grace VanderWaal fans will be happy to know the young Suffern singer is in the studio recording her first album, according to lohud.com.

The 12-year-old was so thrilled she tweeted to fans: "I am sooooooo excited about what this is sounding like @SimonCowell can't wait for you to hear it." 

The "America's Got Talent" winner looks and acts like a professional, according to some helping out on the new album.

Autumn Rowe, a singer and vocal coach on "Americas Got Talent," posted on Twitter that "it had been an awesome week" working with the young singer.

VanderWaal signed a record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco Records, a division of Columbia Records, after winning the competition, said lohud.com.

In addition to Rowe, she's working with vocalist Greg Wells, who also posted about her success.

"It's been an amazing week in NYC working with the super-talented Ms @GraceVanderWaal," he tweeted.

Up next, VanderWaal will perform at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Oct. 27-29, added lohud.com.
