Leaf peepers are predicting color changes for Rockland County from 45 to more than 60 percent. Foliage fans will find mostly shades of orange, red, gold and yellow, with some spots reaching near peak, said lloveny.com.

Leafers from New City said fans can expect midpoint conditions with bright red, purple and yellow leaves eclipsing about 40 percent of the green, added Iloveny.com.

Color change is low in Dutchess County with spotters predicting about 20 percent color change with plenty of orange, gold and yellow colors to enjoy, reported Iloveny.com.

To get a better look, color crazy leafers might need to travel to higher elevations, they added.

Color change will be low in Westchester County, with leaves mostly green with hints of yellow and orange, said Iloveny.com.
