Daly, who grew up in Westchester County and has a home in Suffern, turns 71 Tuesday.
Best known for her part on "Cagney & Lacey," Daly has starred in hundreds of TV shows and movies and continues working today. This year, she recently completed filming "Spiderman, Homecoming," and "Basmati Blues," a romantic comedy.
Born on Feb. 21, 1946, in Madison, Wisc., Daily began her career on stage in summer stock and made her Broadway debut in the play "That Summer – That Fall," in 1967.
The six-time Emmy winner is best known for as Detective Mary Beth Lacey in "Cagney & Lacey." She's also known for her part as Maxine Gray in "Judging Amy."
She also has a Tony Award and is a 2011 American Theatre Hall of Fame inductee.
