Et-meets-Othello Part Of Upcoming RCC Shakespeare Performances

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The Rockland Shakespeare Company is bringing a series of free performances to Suffern, with its 19th season -- beginning on Thursday, July 7, and running through Sunday, July 24.

The performances include a traditional presentation of Othello, a modern version of "The Winter's Tale" and an extraterrestrial-themed version of "Othello" -- titled "EThello."

Here are the scheduled shows:

  • Thursday, July 7 -- Othello
  • Friday, July 8 -- EThello
  • Saturday, July 9 -- The Winter's Tale
  • Sunday, July 10 -- Othello
  • Thursday, July 14 -- EThello
  • Friday, July 15 -- The Winter's Tale
  • Saturday, July 16 -- Othello
  • Sunday, July 17 -- EThello
  • Thursday, July 21 -- The Winter's Tale
  • Friday, July 22 -- Othello
  • Saturday, July 23 -- EThello
  • Sunday, July 24 -- The Winter's Tale

All performances begin at 7 p.m., in the quad behind the Technology Center, Rockland Community College, 145 College Rd., in Suffern. Bring your blankets or lawn chair. Enter the campus from College Road, turn right, and there's plenty of free parking in the lot across from the Technology Center.
