Suffern Wild & Scenic Film Festival Returns to Lafayette Theater

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The Suffern Wild & Scenic Film Festival will return to the historic Lafayette Theater in downtown Suffern for the third time on Wednesday, April 20, to celebrate Earth Day 2016.

The evening will include a program of 12 short films that kicks off at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to come early to enjoy the old-school Wurlitzer organ music.

Dine in the theater with finger friendly takeout from a wide variety of local participating Suffern restaurants.

This fundraiser supports local volunteer nonprofits and includes a raffle and free door prizes.

The environmental community of Rockland and Bergen Counties welcomes the Wild & Scenic Film Festival back to Suffern to celebrate Earth Day 2016 by watching films that promote participation in outdoor adventures and environmental activism.

Considered one of the nation’s premiere environmental and adventure film festivals, this showing of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour will include environmental and adventure films that illustrate Earth’s beauty, the challenges facing the planet and the work communities are doing to protect the environment.
