Rockland County Marks 16th Anniversary Of 9/11 Rockland County will be commemorating the 16th anniversary of Sept. 11 on Monday. A ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. at Haverstraw Bay County Park at 21 Gagan Road. Family members will read the names of the Rockland County victims. U.S. Marine Corps veteran Megan Leavey, whose story was told in the movie "Megan Leavey," that was released this year will also participate in the ceremony.
