The 6.8-acre property owned by the United Asian Group, sold to a realty group for $1.4 million this week, said lohud.com.

The restaurant was on the site of the former Haring Homestead, built in the late 1780s. Many worry the land could be cleared or developed because the deed lists the land's use as commercial, added lohud.com.

In the early 1900s, the home was converted and became a series of restaurants, including Jade Village which opened in 1998, said lohud.com.

The restaurant's last night was Sunday, added lohud.com.
