Area Man Charged With Burglarizing Beer World Twice, Police Say
An area man was busted following an investigation into allegedly burglarizing Beer World twice last month.
Sullivan County resident Justus L. McMoore, age 37, of Monticello, was charged on Friday, Dec. 16, with two counts of grand larceny and petit larceny, said Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police.
McMoore is accused of illegally entering the Beer World store at 77 Pleasant St., in Monticello on Friday, Nov. 4, and stealing $821.45 worth of items, Johnstone said.
Several days later, on Monday, Nov. 7, Johnstone said he entered the store again and stole $2,828.20 worth of items.

A 54-year-old area man has been arrested for allegedly causing more than $7,500 in damage to a police car parked across the street from his home.
Ulster County resident, Derek S. Winnie, of the Village of Saugerties, was arrested on Thursday, July 22 following an investigation into damage to a Saugerties Police car while parked at the Cantine Memorial Sports Complex,

Father, Son Duo Nabbed For Using Stolen Debit Card
A father and son duo were nabbed for allegedly using a stolen debit card taken from a man's vehicle.
Lawrence Wilson Sr., 42 and Lawrence Wilson Jr., 23, both of Monticello, were arrested on Friday, Nov. 30, and charged with forgery, two counts of criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny, said Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police Department.
