A Hudson Valley man who allegedly seriously injured another man in a road rage fight has been charged with felony assault.
Ulster County resident Walton R. Gordon, age 31, of Saugerties was arrested on Tuesday, July 11, for the incident which took place on Saturday, June 24.
Saugerties Police responded to a fight in the parking lot of McDonald's on Route 212 where they found the victim, who sustained serious injuries, but Gordon had fled the area, said Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra.

The incident took place in Ulster County around 9 a.m., Wednesday, June 28 on Route 9W in Saugerties.

A Hudson Valley man was charged with possession of a weapon after being nabbed with a gun and a 17-round magazine.
Ulster County resident Aiden M. Becnel, age 21, of Saugerties, around 4 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police.
At the time of his arrest, Becnel was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun containing a loaded 17-round magazine, Sinagra said.

Duo Nabbed For Series Of Burglaries In Hudson Valley, Police Say
Two men from the area have been nabbed for allegedly committing a series of burglaries.
The men were arrested in Ulster County on Friday, Dec. 2 in the town of Saugerties.
Following an investigation into several burglaries that occurred throughout the town of Saugerties, Saugerties Police detectives have arrested Kirk Shultis Jr., age 33, and Matthew Doyle, age 40, both of Saugerties, for felony burglary, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police.

A man from the region was busted for allegedly having a utility van that was reported stolen the week before.
The arrest took place in Ulster County on Sunday, July 31 in the town of Saugerties.
Jeffrey D. Traver, age 39, of Saugerties, was arrested after police received information that he was in possession of a utility van that was reported stolen on Monday, July 25, said Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said.

Hudson Valley Man Called City Office, Threatened To Shoot Cops, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man is facing criminal charges after allegedly threatening to shoot police officers.
Ulster County resident Masani Gordon, of Saugerties, was arrested Thursday, July 8, following an investigation by Saugerties Police.
Investigators said the 26-year-old called the Town of Saugerties Supervisor’s Office in June 2022 and threatened to shoot members of the city’s police force.
Police did not say what, if anything, may have prompted the threat.
Gordon was charged with making terroristic threats, a felony, and ordered held at the Ulster County jail without bail.
