A registered sex offender who was convicted of having deviate sexual intercourse with an 11-year-old girl has reported a move in Orange County. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange County residents regarding the residency of 45-year-old Esteban Cintron, who has moved to an address on West Main Street in Middletown. The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Cintron as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense." Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By SUV In Middletown
A man is hospitalized with a serious head injury after being hit by an SUV Sunday on Wickham Avenue in Middletown, according to the Middletown Police Department. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when a 68-year-old driver of a 2015 Honda CRV, hit the man, a Middletown resident, just east the intersection with North Street, police said. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Officers provided medical assistance to the man before he was transported by Mobile Life Ambulance to Orange Regional Medical Center. Chase Ends When Suspect Crashes Stolen Car Into Middletown Police Cruiser
The hunt for a stolen vehicle from Allentown, Pa., ended with a chase and a crash into a Middletown Police vehicle. The series of events unfolded earlier in the week when police learned that a 2017 Nissan Altima, stolen from a Dunkin' Donuts in Allentown, might be in the Middletown area, said New York State Trooper Steven Nevel.
