The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when a 68-year-old driver of a 2015 Honda CRV, hit the man, a Middletown resident, just east the intersection with North Street, police said. The series of events unfolded earlier in the week when police learned that a 2017 Nissan Altima, stolen from a Dunkin' Donuts in Allentown, might be in the Middletown area, said New York State Trooper Steven Nevel.
