Four Orange County Residents Face DWI Charges In State Police Stops
New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley busted several more motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the past week-plus. The local residents charged were: Orange County On Friday, Nov. 14, State Police troopers in Middletown arrested Roman Zawojski, 24, of Chester, for DWI. He was traveling on East Main Street in Middletown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Four motorists in Orange and Rockland County were among those recently busted by state and local law enforcement agencies, as police continue a concerted effort to curtail impaired drivers in the Hudson Valley as part of a statewide crackdown. Newburgh Snow Emergency Goes Into Effect
With as much as a foot of snow and sleet expected to blanket Orange County on Wednesday, Newburgh city officials have declared a snow emergency. Newburgh City Manager Michael Ciaravino has declared a snow emergency in Newburgh, effective as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, during which, snow emergency parking regulations will be in effect until it is lifted. Snow Emergency Declared In Newburgh
With Mother Nature expected to drop as much of a foot of snow in the Hudson Valley Wednesday, officials in Newburgh have declared a Snow Emergency, which will be in effect indefinitely. Newburgh City Manager Michael Ciaravino announced that after consulting with city officials, the Snow Emergency was declared, effective as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6.
