High-Speed Chase Ends In Flat Tire For Suspect In Westchester, Police Say A man who led police on a high-speed chase on several busy parkways in Westchester was caught after his vehicle suffered a flat tire, authorities said.  The incident happened on Tuesday, April 18 around 9 a.m., when a Westchester County Police officer saw a black Mercedes driving at a high speed on the northbound Bronx River Parkway near the Cross County Parkway interchange.  According to police, the officer tried pulling the Mercedes over but it did not stop. The incident took in Yonkers on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at a jewelry store on Central Avenue. Four Nabbed For Stealing Catalytic Converters In Westchester, Police Say Four men were arrested after they were caught in the act of stealing a catalytic converter in Westchester County. The men were arrested on Tuesday, March 22, in Yonkers in the area of Delano Avenue. Plainclothes units were surveilling the area of Delano Avenue at Agawam when they spotted the catalytic converter theft in progress, according to Yonkers Police.
