The most recent data from the Orange County Department of Health found that there have been 10,587 positive COVID-19 cases since the pandemic hit the region in mid-March, resulting in 465 deaths of county residents.
As of Monday, June 8, there were still 55 residents being treated for COVID-19 in Orange County hospitals, with another 30 under investigation for the virus.
Phase 2 includes office-based jobs, real estate, barbershops, salons, outdoor dining, and expanded retail services.

According to the state Department of Health, 2,555,896 New Yorkers have been tested for COVID-19, with 378,799 testing positive for the virus as of Monday, June 8. There have been 24,299 reported deaths due to COVID-19 in New York.
