Hit-Run Hospitalizes Woman In Manheim Township, Police Say A 75-year-old woman is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, Manheim Township Police announced on Monday morning, Oct. 21. The woman was found lying on the side of the road in the 100 Block River Drive in Lancaster Township at 9:08 a.m.  She was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.  "A witness heard the impact and then saw a dark-colored sedan flee southbound," the police wrote in the release. 3 People Injured In Amish Horse-Buggy Crash: Lancaster County Dispatch Three people were injured in a crash involving a horse and buggy and a truck on Sunday night, Oct. 20, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The crash happened at the intersection of Nottingham Road and Little Britain Road in Little Britain Township around 7:40 p.m., according to LCWC. Three people from the horse and buggy were injured, but it was not clear if they were taken to a hospital.
