A man entered the Chase branch in Shirley, located at 645 Northbound William Floyd Parkway, at about 3:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and handed the teller a note demanding cash, according to Suffolk County Police. The teller complied and the suspect fled with cash. The robber was described as a white man with brown hair, who appeared to be in his 40s. He was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. A white box truck was traveling southbound on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, near Flower Hill Drive, when it struck a 2015 Kia Optima at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26.  The driver of the box truck fled the scene.
