"An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm is possible with the main threat being strong to damaging winds," the National Weather Service said in a Hazardous Weather Service.
Thunderstorm activity, which began around daybreak, should wrap up by noontime on Thursday, with scattered showers continuing through the mid-afternoon.

Thursday's high temperature will remain steady in the upper 60s.
Then comes a big change in the weather pattern as skies clear starting late Thursday afternoon and the fall equinox arrives at 9:04 p.m. Thursday in the Northern Hemisphere.
The first full day of fall on Friday, Sept. 23, almost on cue, will be noticeably cooler with a high temperature in the low 60s and mostly sunny skies.
It will be blustery with wind speeds averaging around 15 miles per hour and gusts as high as 30 mph.
