Two Long Island Store Clerks Charged With Selling Vaping Products To Minors
Two clerks at Long Island stores are facing charges for selling vape products to minors during a sting operation conducted by the Nassau County Police Department. As part of “Operation Vape Out,” which includes the use of underage agents to purchase restricted products, a pair of clerks in Nassau County were arrested and issued appearance tickets for selling to the minors. Shaffan Rangoonwala, 19, of Valley Stream, was cited for selling a JUUL box with four mint pods to a person under the age of 21 at the Zee Smoke Shop on Long Beach Road in Oceanside.
