Six Nabbed On Long Island For Drugs, Gun, Police Say
Six people were arrested on Long Island after police conducted a search and allegedly found an assault rifle, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
The arrest took place around midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 27 in New Cassel, said the Nassau County Police.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives, members conducted a search warrant at 52 4th Avenue.
During the investigation, detectives recovered an assault rifle, crack, cocaine, sedatives, opioids, ecstasy, cash, and numerous articles of drug paraphernalia.

Duo Charged In Connection With Long Island Shooting
Police have released the identities of two men charged in connection with a Long Island shooting.
John Argueta, age 29, was arrested on Tuesday, June 8, and Junior Argueta, age 18, both of Brentwood, was arrested on Friday, June 10, by Suffolk County Police in connection with the shooting which took place in Mastic Beach on Thursday, June 3.
On the night of the shooting, a man was hit in the leg by a gunshot outside of a home on Parkwood Drive at about 7:42 p.m., police said.
The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Local Man Threatens Employee With Knife After Stealing From Long Island Store, Police Say
A man has been accused of threatening an employee at a Long Island 7-Eleven after being confronted for stealing from the store, according to police.
At around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 29, Christopher Meyer, age 50, walked into a 7/11 store in Levittown, located at 151 Jerusalem Ave., where he picked up two large boxes of beer and walked out of the store without attempting to pay for them, Nassau County Police said.
A male employee followed Meyer, a resident of Levittown, outside the store and attempted to stop him, according to police.

Long Island Duo Nabbed With Guns, Cash After Warrant Search
Investigators executed multiple search warrants that led to the arrest of two men on Long Island, police said.
Suffolk County Police Officers and detectives from the Second Precinct Gang Unit, Second Precinct Crime Section, Narcotics Section, Firearms Suppression Team, and Criminal Intelligence Unit executed five search warrants at approximately 6 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26 in Huntington Station, during which two handguns and $100,000 was seized.
