In his first public comments on a top aide's admission that his administration "froze" when asked by both federal and state officials to release data on COVID-19 nursing home fatalities, Gov. New Ethics Rules Enacted In Nassau County
County officials have introduced changes that will make doing business with Nassau more transparent and improve efficiency into the claims process. The first-of-its-kind code of ethics and a business-friendly vendor portal was introduced to an event the county hosted for vendors Thursday, June 6. The new vendor claims process will enable vendors to submit claims online and have them reviewed and approved electronically by county departments and the Comptroller's office.
