Man, Woman Wanted For Stealing Wallet With Credit Cards At Long Island Trader Joe’s An alert has been issued by police in Suffolk County for a man and woman who allegedly attempted to use stolen credit cards from Trader Joes at other stores on Long Island. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers released photos of suspects that allegedly stole a wallet containing credit cards from Trader Joes at Smith Haven Plaza in Stony Brook. 
The alleged theft took place at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22. The stolen cards were then used at six stores in the area of the theft. Police said that gift cards were purchased in each transaction. Investigators did not disclose how much mone…

Melon Recalled Due To Salmonella Outbreak A recall has been issued for melon products sold in 16 states, including New York, after being linked to a salmonella outbreak, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.  Ninety-three people were infected, 23 of whom were hospitalized. No deaths have been reported. The recall is for cut cantaloupe, watermelon and honeydew produced by Caito Foods LLC.
