One of the suspects in a Long Island attempted robbery was found to have numerous warrants in other states for similar crimes, police said.
On Monday, July 10, a 57-year-old woman went to the Franklin Square TD Bank, located at 720 Franklin Avenue, to withdraw a large sum of money, according to Suffolk County Police.
As she was leaving the bank, she was allegedly approached by a man and a woman, who tried to distract her by saying that someone had placed sharp tacks under her car tires.

The four were indicted in connection with the shooting death of James Diamond, age 28, of Long Beach, who was killed around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10 in Freeport, said the Freeport Police.

Man, Woman Face Charges After Incident Involving BB Gun At Long Island Stop & Shop
A man and woman were arrested for allegedly threatening a customer at a Long Island Stop & Shop with what turned out to be a BB gun during an argument.
The incident took place around 8:45 p.m., Sunday, May 23, at the store at 50 Cherry Valley Ave., in West Hempstead, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, the victim was shopping when he had a verbal disagreement with another man he didn't know who then exited the store and retrieved what appeared to be a black handgun from his parked car.

Woman Accused Of Repeatedly Punching Cop In Face On Long Island, Police Say
A 31-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly repeatedly punching a Nassau County police officer who was attempting to question her.
Widnise Occelin, age 31, was arrested around 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 25 in Inwood, following the incident, said Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, officers were dispatched to Wasner Avenue regarding a female who was seen pulling on car door handles and walking in and out of neighboring yards.
When police arrived, they saw Occelin throw a plastic baggie over a fence on Wasner Avenue, police said.
