Bacteria Counts
Swimming is currently prohibited at Wildwood State Park in Wading River due to high bacteria counts park officials have announced. This prohibition is a precautionary step to assure the protection of the health and safety of the park's swimmers, says the notice. Results from additional water quality testing will be reviewed to determine when swimming will once again be permitted. For current information on park closures, call 631-929-4314.
