Police have released additional details in a triple murder-suicide in Sullivan County, NY the day after Christmas. Law enforcement was dispatched to a shooting incident at 10 Sunset Point Yankee Lake in Mamakating at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, NY State Police said. The body of a former varsity soccer standout in Northern Westchester who went missing in California was discovered inside an abandoned U-Haul, according to authorities. Man Found Dead In Apparent Hempstead Homicide
A second overnight homicide occurred in Nassau County on Sunday, June 9. The latest incident occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. in Hempstead, Nassau County Police said.
