Child Dies After Being Pulled From Swimming Pool In Bay Shore
A 7-year-old boy died after being pulled unresponsive from a swimming pool at a Long Island residence. Suffolk County Police Third Precinct officers responded to the residence on North Thompson Drive in Bay Shore just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20, after a 911 caller reported the incident. The victim, who police identified as New York City resident Kyrie Berry of Brooklyn, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead. An alert was issued by police investigators on Long Island as they seek the public’s assistance in locating a woman wanted for allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from an area Kohl’s location. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers released new photos of a woman who allegedly stole clothes from Kohl’s in Bay Shore on Sunrise Highway on Dec. 10, 2021. 24-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed On Residential Long Island Roadway
An investigation is underway after a 24-year-old was fatally stabbed during a fight on a residential Long Island roadway. Suffolk County Police Third Precinct police officers responded to a report of the stabbing in Bay Shore on Walbridge Avenue at approximately 12:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15. The victim, Anthony Gilbert, was stabbed during the fight in the street, according to police. Gilbert, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
