On Friday, June 25, Suffolk County Police Special Victims Section detectives arrested Jeffrey Hinch, age 29, who was employed by the East Meadow Driving School in Levittown after a complaint was made by a 16-year-old girl of a sexual act committed by the instructor. Long Island HS Math Teacher Accused Of Having Sexual Relationship With Male Student, Police Say A female high school mathematics teacher on Long Island has been accused of having a sexual relationship with a student. Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police Special Victims Section detectives, Veronica Pezdan, age 28, of Holbrook, was pulled over and arrested on southbound William Floyd Parkway after she left Shoreham-Wading River High School at approximately 11 a.m. Monday, April 19. Long Island Man Accused Of Raping Underage Girl; Police Say There Could Be Other Victims A Long Island man has been accused of raping an underage girl at his home earlier this week. Suffolk County Police Special Victims Section detectives arrested Renato Oliva Garcia, age 22, of Mastic Beach, at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, for the alleged rape that police say occurred on Monday, March 15.  Oliva Garcia interacted with the girl on Snapchat for a few weeks before setting up the meeting, said police.  Olivia Garcia picked up the underage girl near her home in the morning on Monday, according to police.
