Long Island Man, Three Sons Rescued After Getting Lost In Woods A family of four lost in a wooded area on Long Island was rescued by police. The incident took place in Manorville around 10:20 p.m., Sunday, May 22. Jeremy Ashraf, 30, of Rocky Point, was operating a 2020 Kawasaki jet ski in the Great South Bay when the vehicle struck a sandbar near Ridge Island and became disabled at approximately 7:35 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
