Fatal House Fire Breaks Out On Long Island A house fire on Long Island claimed one life. A 911 call reporting a blaze at a residence in Mattituck on the 4500 block of Middle Road in Mattituck on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 9:45 a.m.  Multiple fire departments arrived, and while three individuals managed to escape unharmed, a body was later discovered inside. The Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the identity and cause of death for the victim.  Detectives from the Suffolk County Homicide Squad and Arson Section are investigating the incident. Toddler Dies From Fentanyl, Cocaine Poisoning; Long Island Couple Hit With Dozens Of Charges A Long Island couple has been criminally charged after a 14-month-old boy died from a suspected fentanyl and cocaine overdose. Wilkens Adonis and Daryllee Leibrock, both age 38, of Holbrook, were arraigned on dozens of drug and weapons charges in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Emergency crews were called to the couple’s Holbrook home on Wednesday morning, Jan. 3, for an unresponsive child.
