Driver, Passenger Charged After Crash With Police Cruiser Ignites Long Island House Fire A driver and passenger have been arrested on a host of charges after a fiery crash involving a police cruiser at a Long Island intersection ignited a house fire. The incident happened just before 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15 in North Babylon.
