Lane Closures Scheduled On Long Island Expressway In Nassau Upcoming detours have been scheduled on the Long Island Expressway over the course of several days. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that there will be overnight detours on the LIE in Nassau County in the Town of North Hempstead and Oyster Bay to facilitate a bridge cleaning project.
