It happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 in Rocky Point. Suffolk County Police say the man was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Lower Rocky Point Road, when the vehicle veered left at the intersection of Hagerman Landing Road, left the roadway, and crashed. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22 in Miller Place, according to Suffolk County Police. An ambulance with its lights and sirens activated was traveling westbound on Route 25A when an eastbound 2008 Subaru Forester, driven attempted to make a left turn onto Parkside Avenue and collided with the ambulance. Off-duty Suffolk County Police Marine Bureau officer Michael Mason was walking through Port Jefferson Village with his wife around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 when he observed a 62-year-old man collapse and become unconscious at 200 East Broadway in Port Jefferson.  Mason immediately called 911 and began CPR.
