6-Year-Old Hospitalized After Drunk Driving Crash On Long Island, Police Say A man has been accused of driving drunk after an overnight Long Island crash hospitalized his young daughter. It happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 in Rocky Point. Suffolk County Police say the man was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Lower Rocky Point Road, when the vehicle veered left at the intersection of Hagerman Landing Road, left the roadway, and crashed. 3 Hospitalized In Miller Place Crash Involving Ambulance Police are investigating a Long Island crash involving an ambulance in which a person suffered serious injuries. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22 in Miller Place, according to Suffolk County Police. An ambulance with its lights and sirens activated was traveling westbound on Route 25A when an eastbound 2008 Subaru Forester, driven attempted to make a left turn onto Parkside Avenue and collided with the ambulance. The 41-year-old driver of the Forester, a Port Jefferson Station man, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious condition.  …

The incident happened Wednesday, March 24 at approximately 3:35 p.m. in Port Jefferson. Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot in front of 122 Main Street.
