5-Year-Old Falls From Second-Story Window In Hampton Bays Police on Long Island are investigating after a 5-year-old child fell from a second-story window. The incident took place in Hampton Bays around 5:55 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13. Police received a 911 call reporting the event and officers responded to the home along with Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance, according to Lt. Susan Ralph of the Southampton Police. 6-Year-Old Girl Run Over By Jeep While Sledding On Long Island, Police Say A 6-year-old Long Island girl was injured after being run over while sledding in a parking lot by a relative who was loading a Jeep Wranger that began to roll and hit the child. The incident took place around noon, on Sunday, Jan. 30 in the parking lot of Southampton Youth Services, said Lt. Susan Ralph, of the Southampton Town Police. The incident took place around 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, when Southhampton Town Police responded to a report of a shooting at a house party in the hamlet of North Sea.
