Skateboard-Riding Suspect Wanted For Slashing Tires Of 7 Vehicles In Ronkonkoma, Police Say Police are searching for a man who is wanted for slashing the tires of seven vehicles in a Long Island parking lot. A man slashed the tires of vehicles in the parking lot of the Suffolk County Department of Social Services, located at 3455 Veterans Memorial Highway in Ronkonkoma, at about 11:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers reported on Monday, Dec. 12. The suspect was riding a skateboard and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants, authorities said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.…

Long Island Resident Accused Of Assaulting Man With Skateboard A Long Island man was arrested for allegedly assaulting another man with a skateboard during an altercation. The incident took place in South Jamesport, a hamlet in Riverhead, around 4:45 p.m., Sunday, April 24. Arriving patrol units located a man suffering from a laceration to the head after being hit with a skateboard in the head and arm, said the Riverhead Police. The victim reported to police that he knew the identity of the suspect. A search of the area was conducted and the suspect was located a short distance away, police said.
