Man Fatally Shot Long Island Mother In Parking Lot Of Strip Mall, Jury Finds A 32-year-old man was found guilty of fatally shooting a woman in a Long Island parking lot. Anthony Santiesteban, of Centereach, was convicted of second-degree murder and related charges by a Suffolk County jury on Monday, June 24, in the death of 33-year-old Martina Thompson. Prosecutors said Santiesteban was captured on surveillance footage talking with Thompson in a Coram parking lot in the early hours of Oct. 29, 2022.
