Third Suspect Nabbed After Murder Of 20-Year-Old In Front Of Valley Stream Storefront
A third suspect has been charged in connection to the murder of a 20-year-old near a Long Island storefront. The shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21 in Valley Stream. The shooter was on 131st Avenue when he fired multiple shots in the direction of the vacant storefront on 85 Ocean Ave., Nassau County Police said. The shooter fled on foot in an unknown direction, according to police. An alleged member of the MS-13 gang from Long Island was sentenced for murdering a man with a machete in 2017 in the Massapequa Park Preserve. Antonio Cullal, age 26, of Hempstead, was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for his role in the murder of 19-year-old Julio Cesar Espantzay-Gonzales.
