Fatal Crash: Person Struck By Car On Busy Long Island Roadway A person died after being hit by a car overnight on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in Melville, on Broadhollow Road (Route 110), between Spagnoli Road and Ruland Road.  A 23-year-old Huntington Station man was driving a 2003 Toyota sedan northbound in the left lane when he struck the man who was crossing the road, Suffolk County Police said. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, where he was pronounced dead. Morris, of Huntington Station, was uninjured.…

35-Year-Old From Nassau County Dies After Crashing Vehicle Into Box Truck Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on Long Island that killed a 35-year-old man. The crash happened at about 4 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, in Melville, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. SCPD said a 2011 Mitsubishi was traveling on Route 110 when the vehicle struck a 2016 Isuzu box truck that was parked on the shoulder at Ruland Road. The driver of the Mitsubishi, identified as 35-year-old Steven Zaug, of Massapequa Park, was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.  The 39-year-old Medford man who was the driver of the box truck was not injure…

Ronald Kibler, 28, of Wyandanch, was driving the 2018 Mercedes eastbound on Ruland Road when the vehicle left the roadway, struck two poles and overturned in front of 103 Ruland Road.
