After Running Red Light, Sheriff Says
A 20-year-old man who was stopped after he ran through a red light in Brookhaven was allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs, the Suffolk County Sheriff announced. Nesconset resident Robert Marron was stopped by Sheriff’s Deputies was stopped on Middle Country Road at approximately 1:24 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 when he sped through a red light. According to deputies, during the subsequent stop, Marron “demonstrated clues while performing standardized field sobriety tests indicating he was impaired.” He was also found to be in the possession of marijuana.
