Physician Assistant In Riverside Apprehended For Forcibly Touching Patient, Police Say
A 54-year-old physician assistant on Long Island was charged after police said he forcibly touched a 21-year-old woman during an examination.
Kenneth Alessi, of Mattituck, was arrested at Sun River Health Care, his place of work, on Friday, Jan. 6, for an incident that happened in June, the Southampton Town Police Department reported.
The health care center is located at 300 Center Drive in Riverside, police said.
On June 15, Alessi examined a patient for rib pain and allegedly forcibly touched private parts of her body, authorities said.

Mack Truck Hits BMW, Home On Long Island, Police Say
A 10-wheel Mack truck struck a BMW before hitting and damaging a home on Long Island.
The incident took place in the hamlet of Riverside around 10:45 a.m., Monday, July 25 on Riverleigh Avenue.
The driver of a 2022 BMW stopped on Riverleigh Avenue to a make right turn on Pine Street causing the driver of the 2018 Mack truck to make a quick decision to go to the right of the BMW, striking the car and continuing until it struck the home, said Lt. Susan Ralph, of the Southampton Town Police.

A slew of law enforcement officers on Long Island spent part of Memorial Day fishing a brood of ducklings out of a drainpipe.
The officers came to the rescue in Suffolk County around 1:15 p.m., Monday, May 25, in the hamlet of Riverside.
According to police, the Southampton Town Police were called for five ducklings stuck in a storm drain on Route 24 in Riverside.

LI Man Nabbed With Crack Cocaine During Warrant Bust
A 46-year-old man was nabbed by Southampton Town police during a warrant search for allegedly dealing crack cocaine in the area.
Moses Bullock, of Riverside, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 20, when the department's Community Response Unit and Detective Division along with NYS Police K-9 unit, executed a search warrant at Bullock’s Riverside residence, said Det. Lt. James Kiernan.
The bust comes following an extensive investigation and turned up a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, a drug scale, brass knuckles, and more than $6,700 in cash, Kiernan said.
