Popular Restaurant Chain Opens New Long Island Location
Don’t let the name fool you; all body types are welcome at this new Long Island restaurant.
Fat Boy’s Burrito opened its latest store in Patchogue, at 74 East Main Street, on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Founded in 2017 by Tony Othman, the fast-casual Mexican eatery specializes in “fat” burritos, as well as quesadillas, tacos, and street corn.
Customer favorites, according to Yelp, include the Fat Hawaiian Burrito – made with marinated steak, grilled pineapple shrimp, rice, arugula, salsa, onion strings, and Fat Boy’s sauce.

A brand-new restaurant is offering Long Islanders a wide variety of Japanese dishes with a unique twist.
Nomiya is currently in its soft opening phase, with a grand opening set for Monday, Aug. 8, representatives announced.
The restaurant is located in the Roosevelt Field shopping mall, located at 630 Old Country Road in Garden City.
Founders Ajay Chawla, Lawrence Wai, and Moul Kim sought to create a menu featuring East Asian cuisine with a special, local spin, representatives said.

New Long Island Restaurant Cited For 'Great Drinks, Delicious Food'
A new Long Island restaurant is offering guests a variety of craft cocktails and Peruvian-inspired dishes.
The Last Word, located in Suffolk County, opened in September.
The restaurant is located at 13 Wall St. in Huntington.
Menu offerings include shrimp tacos and codfish tacos, tomato salad, and a fried seafood platter. Check out the full menu here.
The cocktail menu features an "Apple Thyme Sour," the "Tigre Martini," along with the "Gin For Breakfast," which is made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch infused gin, lemon, honey, and ginger.
