Duo Charged After Altercation In East Rockaway Starts With Dog Attacking Officer: Police Two men are facing a host of charges after an altercation with police that began when a dog attacked an officer in an overnight incident on Long Island, according to authorities. Officers responded to a disturbance call on Maxwell Street in East Rockaway at around 7 p.m. Friday, April 19.
