1 Killed During Crash At Long Island Intersection During Height Of Evening Commute
A person was killed after being struck by a compact SUV during the height of the evening commute at a busy Long Island intersection.It happened just before 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, in North Bay Shore. A 76-year-old North Bay Shore man was driving a 2015 Honda CRV westbound on Pine Aire Drive at the intersection of 5th Avenue. The victim, who police have not yet identified, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the CRV was not injured. One person was killed and several others hospitalized in an overnight crash in a residential neighborhood on Long Island. It happened around 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 in North Bay Shore. A 20-year-old was driving a 1995 Honda Civic eastbound on Pine Aire Drive when he attempted to pass a 2006 Ford van on the right at the intersection of Peck Avenue, Suffolk County Police said. Man Seriously Injured In Crash At North Bay Shore Intersection
Police are investigating a crash that seriously injured one person at a Long Island intersection. It happened just before 6 p.m. Friday, July 8 in North Bay Shore. Jeronimo Ramos, age 59, of Brentwood, was riding a bicycle northbound on Wells Drive when he crashed into the passenger side of a trailer being towed by a 2009 Chevrolet SUV that was traveling eastbound on Pine Aire Drive, Suffolk County Police said. Man Accused Of Burglarizing Nine Commercial Properties On Long Island
A 57-year-old man was arrested for allegedly burglarizing nine commercial properties on Long Island over the past few months. Anthony Myles, of Bay Shore, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 16 for burglarizing businesses between Thursday, June 3 and Saturday, Aug. 14, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. Police said Myles would kick in the front doors of the businesses and steal property. SCPD said Myles was charged nine counts of third-degree burglary. A 63-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash at a busy intersection in North Bay Shore last night.
