Horse Dies On Set Of HBO Series Being Filmed In NY
Following the death of a horse during the filming of an HBO series on Long Island, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is requesting the network investigate. The horse died in Nassau County on Tuesday, June 28, during the filming of the highly popular series "The Gilded Age." A goose and its flock nearly came to an explosive end after it was found in a Long Island park with a firework duct-taped to its chest. Authorities responded to Silver Lake Park in Baldwin on Friday, July 31, where there was a goose with an explosive device attacked, threatening it and its entire flock. A reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of a person who shot a goose in the neck with a crossbow on Long Island. PETA and the Long Island Orchestrating for Nature (LION) are each offering up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest and animal cruelty conviction of whoever shot a goose at Mill Pond in Wantagh.
