Long Island Murder Sentencing: Alleged Gang Member Will Spend Decades Behind Bars, DA Says An alleged member of the Bloods gang has been sentenced for the Long Island murder and attempted murder he is responsible for, officials announced. On Wednesday, Aug. 30, 27-year-old Christopher Anderson (also known as CK) of Roosevelt was sentenced to 22 years to life in prison for the incidents, which took place in November and December of 2020, according to the Nassau County District Attorney. Armed Man Attempted To Barricade Himself In Long Island Home With Woman, Children, Police Say A man was apprehended after authorities say he attempted to barricade himself in a Long Island home with a woman and two children. Around noontime Friday, April 9, Nassau County Police officers responded to a residence on Pennywood Avenue in Roosevelt after a report of a dispute between two men, one with a gun.  After an initial investigation and through interviews with multiple witnesses, officers confirmed that the suspect did brandish a rifle during the dispute with his neighbors, Nassau County Police said.
