Kathy Hochul has announced that the World Cricket Cup, held at a Long Island stadium, will see increased security measures. Hochul’s announcement came just days before the first match of the International Cricket Council’s World Cup is set to be held at Eisenhower Stadium in East Meadow. Long Island Woman Sentenced For Providing Material Support To ISIS A 30-year-old woman on Long Island will spend more than a decade behind bars for offering material support to ISIS. Brentwood resident Zoobia Shahnaz has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization, U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue announced. 23 Sex Offenders Nabbed In ICE Operation On Long Island, In NYC Nearly two dozen alleged sexual predators are off the streets after being busted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations on Long Island.
