One line, located along a line extending from Rockland County to Central Westchester were located around 4 p.m., moving southeast at 20 miles per hour. Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms, the National Weather Service said in a Hazardous Weather Statement issued late Sunday afternoon, Aug. 4.
