Long Island Man Sold Fentanyl-Laced Pills To Undercover Cop, Jury Finds A Long Island man was convicted by a jury of his peers for selling pills laced with fentanyl at an LIRR train station. Anthony Alexander, age 57, of Deer Park, was found guilty Thursday, March 30, of selling the opioid-laced pills under the guise that they were oxycodone, the Suffolk County DA said. Alexander sold what he said were oxycodone pills to an undercover investigator two times in January 2022. Subsequent testing of the pills sold to the investigator revealed that they were fentanyl, not oxycodone. Police arrested Alexander on January 20, 2022, at the Babylon train station. Inves…
