Duo Nabbed After Robbery At Macy's Store On Long Island, Police Say Two men are accused of robbing an employee at a Macy’s store on Long Island. Nassau County Police were called to the Macy’s store in Manhasset, located at 1100 Northern Boulevard, for a robbery at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. A loss prevention employee told officers that two men stole items before fleeing in a black Kia. On their way out, one of the men was involved in a physical altercation with the worker. Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck By Mercedes On Long Island A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a Mercedes-Benz on Long Island. The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 30 in Manhasset. According to Nassau County Police detectives, the 2014 Mercedes, operated by a 41-year-old woman, struck the 79-year-old victim near the intersection of Northern Boulevard and Allen Drive.  The victim suffered multiple assorted injuries and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. She was listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
